- How did you hear about Connecting Refugees?
- I created the Connecting Refugees site with my colleague Penny. She told me how difficult it was for refugees to resettle. I was surprised to learn from her how anxious refugees can be about their new country and how frightening it must be to not know anything about their new home. Penny told me that the small things can make a difference, things like seeing pictures of the new country, even a photo of the airport can be helpful, and how calming it was to hear stories from others who have resettled. Thus Connecting Refugees was born to meet this need!
